LG G3 Cat 6 gets official confirmation with upgraded processor and faster LTE modem



LG Electronics officially announces their next model of the companys 2014 bellwether smartphone, that is named as LG G3 Cat.6, the very same handset we saw in the wild from the phone maker, earlier this month. So, the new phone from the South Korean multinational conglomerate manufacturer packs in the new generation Qualcomm powered Snapdragon 805 processor, that supports faster network speeds with Category6 LTE modem, that offers downloads up to 225 megabits per second, which is said to be 50 percent faster than a traditional LTE-Advanced capable smartphone. The new phone from LG is here to take on its rival Samsungs lately sanctioned, Galaxy S5 LTE-A in their homeland market of South Korea, exclusively.

So, other than the new improved chipset and 4G LTE modem, the new phone will resemble the companys internationally available flagship smartphone like internal specification listing. Coming out of box with a 5.5-inches Quad High Definition AH-IPS screen of 2560 x 1440 resolution display, 32 gigabytes expandable on board storage, coupled with three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary lens on the back with Optical Image Stabilization Plus, laser beam auto-focus sensor and dual-tone LED flash lights and theres a 2.1 megapixels secondary snapper on the front. For additional connectivity, the new G3 Cat.6 will include, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X), Near Field Communication or NFC and SlimPort, a 3,000mAh powered battery and lastly running Androids version 4.4.2 KitKat with LGs new simplified User Interface over the hood. The phone is set out in Silk White, Shine Gold and Metallic Black color options.
