Panasonic unveils Eluga U smartphone in India



Panasonic Corporation, the Japanese multinational electronics corporation is back with yet another new smartphone in India. Yesterday, the company took some time to announce their latest version Android running smartphone from the Eluga series, named as the new Panasonic Eluga U. The new smartphone from the manufacturer comes in both Black and White color options with decorous middle-ranged internals and an affordable price of Indian Rupees 18990, thats about 312 United States Dollars, which has already started its sales in the country from today.

In term of the design, Panasonic has fitted a sheet of textured glass on the back of the phone, something like what LG had did with its Google Nexus 4 smartphone, in the past. The smartphone also packs software features including, Kwik Lock, which is a double tap kind of locking setup for the phones homescreen, also Fit Home User Interface for easier single handed operation, Pop i player, Music cafe and Gesture play.

So, the new Panasonic Eluga U comes out of the box with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon made 400 processor, speeding at 1.2GHz and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 5-inches High Definition screen of One Glass Solution (OGS) technology and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16 gigabytes of on board memory storage (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), 13 megapixels main shooter on the back with LED flash light, capable of capturing Full HD 1080p videos and two megapixels front facing secondary snapper, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and dual-SIM card support on 3G HSPA+ network radios, a 2,500mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4.4 KitKat below aforementioned proprietary UI on top.
