What To Do If You Drop Your iPhone In Water

s
If you ever happen to accidentally drop your iPhone in water then you will find the do-it-yourself procedure posted by iFixYouri useful, especially since warranties don’t cover water damage.
According to iFixYouri, a repair shop for iPhones, water damaged iPhone is one of the most common iPhone repair types.
Here is iFixYouri’s do-it-yourself (DIY) procedure:

It is imperative to remove the iPhone out of the water ASAP. Once the iPhone is out of the water, you want to make sure it is powered off.
If you get a white pinwheel on the screen and it won’t turn of, you hold down the power button and home button until it turns off. In the video we failed to record it powering back on after we powered it off. Wesimply repeated the ‘power off process’ and moved on to the next important step; remove the SIM card.
Once the SIM card is removed you want to put the iPhone in an uncooked bag of rice. Tighten the bag so all extra air is gone and seal it.
Wait 48 to 76 hours after the water exposure and then try it out. If you find at that time it is not functioning properly as a result of the iPhone water damage put back in the rice and mail it to iFixYouri who specialize in fixing water damaged iPhones.

Auto Sound Systems that Offer More

Technology is advancing at an alarming pace. Many of us in the market for auto sound systems have been more than surprised at many of the choices on the market today. Sound systems have gone far beyond the simple tuners of days past and are incorporating other features into the sound system as well. Today you can find all kinds of bells and whistles with price tags to match. It would be very easy to spend two or three thousand dollars in the purchase and installation of a very nice auto sound system in your car, truck, or SUV. Most of us, however, would do just as well with a simple three hundred dollar sound system and would be unlikely to use many of the features that the higher price sound systems offer.

That being said, if you plan to be in the market for an auto sound system, a DVD players/entertainment system, an MP3 player, a CD player, and/or a navigation system for your vehicle, then you might want to select one of the more feature rich auto systems that are available on the market today. You just might find that you get more bang for your buck with these sorts of systems.

These systems offer a great many features and can be found in all kinds of price ranges. Once you find the system you like I highly recommend comparing prices all around and going with the best deal you can find. Remember to include things such as shipping and/or installation in the prices as most of the more inclusive, feature rich systems are in dash systems and will more than likely require professional installation. If you can find a local retail center that is willing to install free, I highly recommend consider that as a huge perk, especially if they are close or willing to match your lowest price elsewhere.

Some of the more popular feature rich auto sound systems you can find on the market today are listed below with a very wide array of prices that I have found for them.

1) Pioneer AVIC-N2 DVD/GPS Navigation System. The price range on this system is between $750 and $1,200 without installation. This unit has DVD, CD, MP3, and navigation capabilities.

2) Alpine IVA-W200 DVD/CD/MP3 Player. These can also be found between the prices of $760 and just over $1,000. This system consists of a DVD player, CD player, and an MP3 player but doesnt have the navigational assistance and GPS.

3) Jensen VM9311TS AM/FM/CD/DVD with a 7" LCD screen. This device is priced significantly lower and has all kinds of amazing capabilities. CD/DVD/MP3/WMA/iPod and XM capable though it too doesnt have GPS or navigational assistance. The price on this system however is between $330 and $500, which makes it a pretty good bargain.

I hope you find something here that strikes your fancy and remember its never too early to begin lobbying for next Christmas. You can tell everyone what you want and hope that friends and family will pitch in and add gift certificates to your savings for the auto sound system youve been dreaming of (you might also want to plan to have a vehicle you intend to keep a while should you decide to make this sort of investment).

Car Stereo Speaker

Car Stereo Speaker: Let Your Car Stereo Speak For Itself - Even if you’re not a car audio connoisseur, it’s easy to be impressed with a car stereo speaker while looking around in an expo or convention. They’re the first thing you’ll probably notice, they come in different colors, shapes and sizes. Those big throbbing concaves blaring incredibly low bass lines or cool little tweeters whistling out seething treble sounds.

Car stereo speakers are interesting and very tempting to buy, especially the big loud ones. But big is not always the best. Each speaker has its own unique quality, intended use and price range. Some may also be better than others at certain things so it pays to investigate your type of car stereo amplifier or head unit before you finally decide on a car stereo speaker for your system. Here are some features to consider:

Car stereo speakers are not all the same size and wattage, and this can cause a problem once you try to hook it up in your car. Know the specs of your system. Sort this out ahead of time, it will save you a lot of hassle. You will be happier with your new acquisition if you can get to see it in action as soon as possible.

There are also a lot of car stereo amplifiers on the market, it pays to be aware of how the car stereo speaker you are considering compares to the others, and how compatible it is to your amplifier or the amplifier you’re planning to buy. Car stereo speakers and amplifiers go hand in hand. You’ll want the car stereo speakers you buy to be suitable for your automotive entertainment needs and not strain the system.

Style can be an important factor when choosing your special car stereo speakers. You’ll want the one you choose to fit in perfectly with your other all sorts of stereo speakers. If you’re planning to install something different, you have to take into consideration the modifications your going to have to make in order to accommodate your new car stereo speakers.

One of the biggest issues in buying a new type of car stereo speaker is suitability. How suitable your car stereo speakers are is probably the biggest issue. Dont forget the reason you’re buying the type of car stereo amplifier in the first place, and ensure that the all sorts of stereo speakers you are looking at will do the job you need no matter what other fancy features they may offer.

Brand is an important consideration when you are shopping for a car stereo speaker. The fact is, one brand of type of car stereo amplifier may have a much better reputation than another, and for good reason. You be the judge. Do your research. Ask car audio enthusiasts. Read magazines and reviews. Do you want to take a chance on just any car stereo speakers, or go for the proven name brand?

Lastly, price is important even if you think its not. After all, would you want to pay more for your car stereo speakers only to find it cheaper the next day at a different store? Nobody likes that. When shopping for better car stereo speakers, it pays to check at least a couple of different stores, just to make sure youre getting your car stereo speakers at the best price.
